SUP and Science Program with Kostal Paddle

Location: Town of North Hempstead Beach Park (bar beach) location (175 W Shore Rd, Port Washington, NY 11050)

About our program: SUP and Science is a fun and educational way for your child to get out on the water. This program is designed for children who can swim and are between the ages of 7 and 15. Our program runs Monday to Wednesday with make-up days Thursday and Friday incase of bad weather or cancellation. Our start date is the week of July 17th and our last week is August 28th. We have a one session this summer only that includes both paddleboarding and kayaking depending on the weather and conditions from (9am-1pm).

GENERAL INFORMATION

Certified Paddle board Instructors with CPR & First Aid Training

Weekly from July through September
Monday - Wednesday from 9am - 1pm and 1pm to 4pm or both
Ages 7 to 15
All skill levels are welcome
Tents and refreshments provided

Held in calm shallow water at Town of North Hempstead Beach Park in Beautiful Port Washington NY

WHAT TO EXPECT

Campers will experience a variety of fun water-based activities each day
Learn water safety
The basics of kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and other water based sports.
Learn about the environment to make the bays cleaner.
Play paddle boarding games and activities
- Relay races, scavenger hunts, and water games.
Improve balance and fitness while having fun
Make new friends
Stay active and have a great time with the Kostal Krew

We will be educating your children by teaching them not only how to paddle board but about the ocean and the environment that we surround ourselves with. We will do daily beach clean ups to get the kids involved with keeping the beaches clean and teach them about recycling and making the planet a better place. They will be surrounded by friendly instructors that will teach everything they need to know about paddle boarding and having fun. Sign up now for the full six weeks and save or come for three weeks or just a week and see if your child likes it. We can’t wait to work with them and educate them about our planet we love so much.
